Ninilchik Traditional Council

Health Department

NTC provides health services in the Ninilchik, Anchor Point, and Homer areas, and offers assistance and referrals to other medical facilities in Alaska. We encourage everyone to maintain or improve their health, both physically and mentally. Our health programs are based on principles of good medicine, supporting personal achievements, community success, and cultural enrichment.

community clinics

Our commitment to providing quality healthcare spans over four decades. Since opening our first small clinic in Ninilchik more than 40 years ago, we have expanded to three clinics. We provide a broad range of services to all individuals, including those eligible for Indian Health Services (IHS), families of any tribal affiliation, as well as the general public. Join us as we continue to promote health and well-being in our community.

The NTC Youth Outreach Program promotes safe and healthy environments that foster development through early intervention and education, focusing on substance use prevention and suicide prevention.

Youth Outreach also runs the local Teen Center!
